Carved and painted wooden ceremonial panel from the Sepik River region. Decorated with alternating geometric and curvilinear motifs in red ochre, white, and black pigments. The elongated horizontal format suggests use as an architectural element within a men’s ceremonial house (haus tambaran).

Good condition with age-related pigment wear and surface patina consistent with period use.
