Large Ceremonial Shield with Standing Ancestral Warrior

Carved wooden ceremonial shield surmounted by a standing ancestral warrior figure flanked by spear forms. The elongated shield body is densely incised with flowing clan motifs characteristic of Asmat carving traditions. The wide-legged stance and genital gesture express ancestral potency and warrior symbolism.

Surface wear and patina consistent with age and traditional use.
