Kidumu mask – Teke-Tsaye

Carved and painted wooden Kidumu mask of elongated oval form with stylized facial features and geometric surface decoration. The eyes are framed within arched panels divided by a horizontal band, with small perforations for attachment of raffia or costume elements. Circular and linear motifs accent the lower section, typical of Teke-Tsaye ceremonial masks.

Fine age patina and visible wear.
