Wooden Cihongo mask of the Chokwe people, representing a powerful male ancestral spirit associated with wealth and authority. The mask features characteristic half-closed eyes, finely incised geometric scarification on the forehead, a carved emblem, and a small serrated mouth. The pierced rim and metal earrings are preserved.
Deep, dark patina with visible age and wear.
