Carved wooden standing male figure with elongated head, heavy-lidded almond-shaped eyes, and an open mouth with projecting lips. The figure stands with bent knees, the hands placed on the abdomen, and a prominent crest-like projection rising from the top of the head.

Figures of this type are associated with Songye nkisi power figures, traditionally used in spiritual and protective rituals and believed to contain or channel supernatural forces.

Dark brown patina with signs of age and handling. 20th century.
